The Planning & Zoning Department is responsible for preparing and maintaining the city’s Comprehensive Plan, and ministering and enforcing zoning and subdivision regulations, enforcing building codes, and carrying out ordinances for permits and inspections.

Planning Commission meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month at 7:00 p.m.  Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers at 317 E 4th St.
